It contains the same active ingredient found in K9 Advantix^® II^* and repels and kills mosquitos for up to one month, often before they have a chance to take a blood meal—and potentially spread disease.

LIFECYCLE OF MOSQUITOS

The eggs of Aedes aegypti hatch within a few days up to several months when covered with water, developing into pupae in as few as five days. Once they hatch, they develop into flying, adult mosquitos within 72 hours. Female adult mosquitos then take 2-3 blood meals before laying their own eggs. Provecta Advanced for Dogs repels these mosquitos often before they take a blood meal. For the few mosquitos that do feed, Provecta Advanced for Dogs kills them before they have a chance to lay eggs.
