Redonyl Ultra Skin Support Chews for Dogs
by: Dechra Veterinary Labs
Redonyl takes the guesswork out of skin health!
One of the most difficult things to determine is the cause of comprised skin health. Regardless of the cause, supporting skin health is essential to your canine companion leading a happy, healthy life.
Allergies are some of the most common causes of poor skin health. Allergic reactions can be caused by a number of triggers, including, but not limited to, pollen, mold, insect bites, and dust mites. Fortunately, Redonyl Ultra, formulated with PEA, can help support skin health.
PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide) is a naturally-occurring lipid found in both animals and plants. It is produced naturally in the body when tissue injury occurs. When a dog's skin is unhealthy, the body produces more than 30X the normal amount of PEA to help maintain skin well-being, stabilizing mast cells that release histamine, which causes inflammation. When in the presence of PEA, mast cells release less histamine, and skin health is maintained.
