PetSafe Teach & Treat® Remote Reward Trainer

Reward Good Behavior Right When It Happens

Effective dog training depends on timing and consistency. The PetSafe® Teach & Treat® Remote Reward Trainer makes it easier to reinforce the behaviors you want by allowing you to dispense kibble or treats from up to 30 yards away with the press of a button.

Instead of waiting until your dog comes back to you for a reward, you can reinforce the behavior as it happens. This makes Teach & Treat a useful tool for teaching new skills, practicing familiar commands, and encouraging calm, well-mannered behavior throughout your home.

Put Positive Reinforcement to Work

Teach & Treat is designed around a simple training principle: reward the behavior you want to see more often.

Use the remote to deliver a reward when your dog sits, stays calm, responds to a verbal command, goes to a designated spot, or demonstrates another behavior you're working on. Because the reward can come from a distance, you can reinforce behaviors without interrupting the moment by walking over to your dog.

The system can be particularly useful for practicing behaviors that require your dog to remain in a specific location or respond to you from across the room.

Turn Your Home Into a Training Environment

The lightweight, portable design makes it easy to use Teach & Treat throughout your home. Move the dispenser between rooms or place it in an appropriate location to practice different behaviors in realistic everyday situations.

You can even use the dispenser near your dog's crate to reward calm behavior while your dog is relaxing in their own space.

The included training target gives your dog a visual destination to work toward, providing another way to incorporate movement and positioning into your training sessions.

Designed for Quiet, Convenient Training

The Teach & Treat dispenser operates with a quiet motor, helping keep the focus on your dog and the behavior you're reinforcing rather than on the sound of the dispenser.

The system is powered by four D batteries, allowing you to use it without being tied to a power outlet. That makes it convenient to move around your home as your training routine changes.
